When injuries and covid started decimating the star-studded Phoenix roster, the players and the coach entered a state of confusion and uncertainty.
Simon Mitchell did his absolute best in the last three weeks, but he simply didn´t have enough at his disposal to prevent this horrific losing streak. However, two days ago at home the Phoenix were finally complete and were expected to routinely take down the listless Brisbane Bullets, which suprisingly didn´t happen.
This last loss definitely wasn´t planned and puts the Phoenix in a tough and unenviable position today in Tassie.
