20:00 – Zeleznicar Pancevo vs Radnik Surdulica
Three rounds before the end of the championship, the home team finds itself in an uncomfortable position. Zeleznicar is five points behind the first team outside the relegation zone, while the playoff spot is just two points away from them. It’s clear that a victory is imperative for the home team, and if Zeleznicar doesn’t defeat Radnik from Surdulica on Monday, they will face serious problems in the last two rounds.
Radnik from Surdulica has long been the main candidate for relegation from the league, and we recently received mathematical confirmation of that. The guests have no competitive motives in the last three rounds, so it’s somewhat risky to believe that the players of the Surdulica team will be motivated to fiercely fight for points at the end of this season.
Anything but a victory for the home team would be a major upset here. Zeleznicar showed “signs of life” with a 3-2 victory in the last round against Vozdovac, and we believe that this triumph should give enough confidence to the players from Pancevo to comfortably win this match. We believe that the job can be done here as early as the first 45 minutes.
