Yannick Hanfmann
Yannick Hanfmann has had a difficult year so far. It started off well, where he reached the second round of the Australian Open (beating Kokkinakis in the opening round), but then struggling to string more than two wins together for a few months. In fact, it took him seven months exactly to win three matches in a row, at his preferred high alitutde Gstaad and then Kitzbühel. Hanfmann now finds himself in South America, where he played his first ITF since 2017 and lost in the quarter-finals to Diaz Acosta as a sizable favourite. He’ll be desperate to have a good run this week.

Renzo Olivo
Renzo Olivo is back in South America, and in his home country. This week in Round 1, he avenged his loss against Kicker in three sets after losing 6-2 6-0 last week. Olivo only managed to be broken three times in his 6-3 5-7 6-4 win over his fellow countryman. Renzo has had a relatively predictable year so far, but he’ll be hoping he could win his first title since 2019 in a relatively weak half.

They have never faced each other.
Prediction
I see this match being relatively close, and with Hanfmann having such a huge serve and Olivo’s holding abilities, the over number looks way too low.
