Sebastian Ofner has been in great form this year, winning 52 matches and losing 22. He’s made some great runs this year on the Challenger circuit, where he had to go through five finals before winning in Salzburg where he finally won his first title of the year in Salzburg. He made a great run at the French Open which really grew his ranking, where he went from the qualifying stages to the round of 16, losing to Tsitsipas. In the main draw, he beat Cresy, Korda and Fognini to reach that round. He impressed in the opening round of the US Open, beating Nuno Borges three sets to one.

Frances Tiafoe

Frances Tiafoe has had a great year so far, winning two tour level titles already. He won his first in Houston, which was his first tour level title since 2018 when he won at Delray Beach. His second title win came in Stuttgart, where he had to beat Lehecka, Musetti, Fucsovics and Struff to secure that title. He’s failed to make a deep run in a Grand Slam this year is his biggest disappointment, exiting in the third round in all three Grand Slams this year. Tiafoe has a great chance of going far in the next two weeks, with his draw being pretty favourable for the American.
