Katie Swan has been a solid ITF player for some time now, winning 10 titles since 2017. She’s never been able to transition to tour level tennis, but did change that after winning a couple of big ITF’s in the latter part of the year (beating the likes of Scott, Diatchenko, Wang). She managed to get a couple of solid WTA tour wins too, beating Stephens, Korpatsch and Gasanova. Though these are good wins, she will definitely struggle against NPD’s consistency on Saturday.
