Many people who are involved in the Twitter x Tennis world will know the story of Li Tu. He started off as a great talent, making his ITF debut as a 14 year-old, and played in the Junior Davis Cup alongside fellow tour-level player Thanasi Kokkinakis. In 2014, he retired at 18 years old and became a coach. He restarted his tennis career during COVID, playing in the UTR Pro Tennis Series in Australia, and won 27 of his 29 matches in 2020. He decided to go pro again a year after, and managed to grab a set of Lopez when he received a wild card in the Australian Open. Fast forward to late 2022, after winning three ITF titles he won his first ever Challenger in Seoul (beating the likes of O’Connell, Duckworth and Wu, being a huge dog to all).

Jozef Kovalik

Jozef Kovalik hasn’t had much success on hard courts, with his record since 2018 being 9:19. He’s got a great game, but only truly transfers well on clay courts where he’s won six Challengers. His serve will be the main thing keeping him in this match, and will struggling against the talented Li Tu.
