At the moment, the Florida Panthers don´t look like a team capable of pulling off an upset and turning the series around. They were dominated in all four games so far and if it wasn´t for their heroic efforts in the game 3 comeback, the series would have already ended.
One of the main reasons why the Panthers have been outclassed so far is the downfall of their netminder Sergei Bobrovsky. Prior to this final he was unexpectedly putting up historic numbers, but in the NHL Finals he hasn´t been up to the task allowing a total of 13 goals on 104 shots with a measly 87% save rate.
In addition, one of Florida´s main offensive pieces and best scorers this season Matthew Tkachuk has been listed as questionable for the game. We have no doubt he will play through his upper-body injury, but currently he is nowhere near a 100%, which only adds to the woes that the Panthers are experiencing in this series.
