Arsenal Team News

With a win against Everton, Arsenal extends their lead at the top of the table by five points to Manchester City. Both clubs have the same number of games played. So, now all is in Arsenal’s hands in a fight for the title.

Arsenal has been three games without a win and for one round they lost first place in the table, but that win at Villa Park against Aston Villa was crucial. They were 1-0 and 2-1 down and score a goal in stoppage time to win all three points. After that game, they won another two games against Leicester and Everton and now they bring back self-confidence.

Arsenal has three consecutive wins in the Premier League and the most important thing is that they have a very acceptable schedule in the next few weeks. They will play against Bournemouth, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Leeds. Three of those four games they will play at Emirates Stadium which is fantastic. So, they have an amazing opportunity to win all these games and to extend their winning run and to, at least, keep five points advantage over Manchester City.

Arsenal is terrific at Emirates Stadium and only Manchester City won all three points at this stadium. They failed to score in only one game at home, but also kept only three clean sheets.

Leandro Trossard and Jorginho prove to be great signings because they improve rooster and now Mikel Arteta has more options. Trossard has had a goal and two assists since he arrived.

Bournemouth Team News

Bournemouth is in a terrible run of results since the Premier League continues after the World Cup. They have only one win in 11 games in all competitions and that win was at Molineux Stadium against Wolves.

Since Boxing Day they are in the worst form in the Premier League and they have won only five points from the last nine games.

Bournemouth is 19th in the table with 21 points and five wins after 24 games. They are only a point from safety and still have a great chance to stay in the Premier League for the next season.

They have one clean sheet in the last 11 games and failed to score in six of those games. Bournemouth is in the middle of a very difficult schedule.

They have back-to-back games against Arsenal and Liverpool and after that difficult games against Aston Villa, Fulham, Brighton, and Leicester. Then Tottenham follows.

Bournemouth isn’t great away from home. They suffered eight defeats in 12 games and conceded worrying 32 goals. No side in Premier League conceded more goals away from home.

In 12 games they have only one clean sheet away from home and in nine games they have conceded two or more goals.

Bournemouth is struggling against the teams from the top half of the table. In 13 games against the opposition from 1st to 10th place they pick up only four points and they are still without a win and have only a clean sheet.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth Prediction

Arsenal can’t allow themselves to drop points here. They are in a fantastic position on the table, five points clear at the top and they have a very good schedule in the next few weeks.

They must take advantage of it and step by step come closer to winning a title after almost 20 years.

Arsenal is a huge favourite here and with three consecutive wins, they return a much-needed self-confidence.
