Meralco Bolts Team News
The Meralco Bolts had a light schedule at the start of their Commisioner´s Cup campaign and took full advantage by disposing of the Blackwater Bossing and the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. However, when the first “real” game came against the San Miguel Beermen, they suffered a reality check and lost 93:83.
Besides being inferior to the Beermen in terms of quality, the absences of Maliksi, Black, Banchero, Caram, Pascual and Torres were more than felt in that match. Chris Banchero has now fully recovered from his hamstring injury and will be back for this game, but with all the other absences we doubt that the Bolts will be able to cope against Tropa, who should take advantage and notch a very important win.
