After a tough and unexpected 15-point loss away from home at the hands of the Canterbury Rams, the Bay Hawks were poised to have a big game at home against the Franklin Bulls. They were expected to rebound and recover but after two and half quarters of play found themselves down by 20 points and already looked like they had given up.
However, what happened in the final 15 minutes of the game was truly a remarkable turnaround as the Hawks managed to erase the massive deficit spurred on by the home crowd.
