Virtus returned to the Euroleague after 15 years. Their ambition was to be inside top 8, but the results are not at that level. They are at 6-9 and that record is much better than impression they left so far. If they don’t win a few games in a row in next couple of weeks, the quarterfinals will remain just a dream.
Although on paper Virtus has a quality team, this is not reflected on the court. Scottie Wilbekin and Johnathan Motley missed several games and they are the most important individuals for Fenerbahce’s offense. Some other players also missed a few matches.
