At the start of December it seemed the 36ers were establishing some form, but then suffered a 3-game losing streak and dropped outside the playoff zone. This kind of a momentum shift has become typical for their team this season, but the erratic Bullets could be their way out of the current slump.
Just like at the start of the season, the 36ers can´t defend to save their lives. In their last three games Adelaide have been conceding a whopping average of almost 100 points, and what´s even more worrying is that it was against three playoff teams that were supposed to be their main competitors for the title this season.

It´s hard to keep up with everything that´s been going on in the Bullets camp this season. This month has been particularly interesting as the biggest underachievers this season(yes, we actually think Illawarra have been better overall) managed to switch three coaches in the space of less than 15 days and also signed a new import player.
After releasing head coach James Duncan, Sam McKinnon took over as the caretaker until the Bullets decided to appoint assistant coach Greg Vanderjagt as their new head coach.
His baptism of fire in Queensland in front of a hostile Orangy Army against the Taipans didn´t go well at all. However, the Bullets were playing without one of their leaders Tyler Johnson and just incorporated a new import into their roster, Andrew White, who had a solid role in his debut with 9 points in 18 minutes.
