Fantasy Premier League GW11 – Best Team Selection
The most crucial FPL decisions need to be made now because Gameweek 11 is about to begin. It’s time to talk about the ideal team for the upcoming round after the article about differentials.
GW11 will take place in the shadow of the major Liverpool-Manchester City rivalry, and Newcastle’s visit to Old Trafford will feature a very intriguing match.
Regarding the GW11 team, Tottenham and Arsenal should have favorable fixtures. However, the Gunners have a Blank Gameweek 12, so you should be careful with the number of Arteta players in your lineup. Even though they are playing against Klopp’s squad, as many as three Citizens players are among our ideal 11, and there are also key players from Leicester, West Ham, and Brentford.
Here are our ideal 11 for the FPL GW11:
GOALKEEPER
Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.4m) – 0.9% TSB
Chelsea players have kept three clean sheets in the last three rounds in all competitions. New coach Graham Potter constantly rotates due to the exhausting rhythm of playing every three days, and the only player who has started every game since the arrival of the former Brighton boss is Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.4m).
DEFENDERS
Marc Guehi (£4.3m) – 2.3% TSB
Marc Guehi (£4.3m) is a regular in the starting lineup for Crystal Palace and has a fantastic schedule coming up, making him eligible for selection in every FPL team.
Joao Cancelo £(7.3m) – 54.4% TSB
The most reliable FPL acquisition among defenders this season. Although Citizens plays against Liverpool in this round, Joao Cancelo (£7.3m) must be a part of every FPL team in this Gameweek because of his offensive characteristics. In the last match against Southampton, he scored a goal and an assist, recorded a clean sheet, and three bonus points for a total of 18 FPL points.
Kieran Trippier (£5.6m) – 53.9% TSB
The only defender who can match Cancelo in terms of FPL potential at the moment is the Newcastle captain. Kieran Trippier (£5.6m), although covering the position of right back, is one of the most influential players of the Magpies. He is involved in every attack and has collected 19 FPL points in the last three games.
MIDFIELDERS
Bukayo Saka (£7.8m) – 12.6% TSB
Given the Blank Gameweek 12, we feel that one Arsenal player in the FPL squad is sufficient at the moment. Martinelli (£6.6m) is the most popular option, but we opted for his teammate. Bukayo Saka (£7.8m) is the Gunners’ most dangerous player in the last two rounds. He had seven attempts at the opponent’s goal in that period, and against Liverpool, in the last round, he scored two goals and brought in 15 FPL points.
James Maddison (£8.3m) – 18.8% TSB
Leicester experienced a new embarrassment in the last round. They were beaten 1-3 by Bournemouth, which brought manager Brandon Rogers to the brink of being sacked. In the next two rounds, the Foxes play at home against Crystal Palace and Leeds, so these are probably the last chances for the manager from Northern Ireland to save himself from being fired. If he wants a positive result, his best player James Maddison (£8.3m), must be at the optimal level. He shone against Nottingham Forest with 18 FPL points but was blanked in the last round.
Phil Foden (£8.2m) – 18.8% TSB
Phil Foden (£8.2m) continues to follow Erling Haaland. Manchester City’s winger scored four goals in the last two league games and also recorded one assist. Pep Guardiola spared him a big effort in the Champions League match against FC Copenhagen. He spent only the last 14 minutes on the pitch, so he will almost certainly be in the starting line-up in the derby against Liverpool.
Jarrod Bowen (£8.2m) – 5.2% TSB
West Ham’s best player had no impact in the first seven rounds of the Premier League, then exploded. A goal and an assist in the penultimate round against Wolves, and another goal against Fulham in the last round, made Jarrod Bowen (£8.2m) a very popular FPL acquisition. In the upcoming round, the Hammers visit Southampton, which is a suitable rival for the continuation of the fantasy points harvest.
FORWARDS
Ivan Toney (£7.3m) – 23.4% TSB
Brentford’s top scorer ended a two-game goalless streak in the last round against Newcastle. Ivan Toney (£7.3m) was accurate from the penalty spot, and he will have the opportunity for another efficient game on Friday when Brighton will host Brighton in the opening match of the 11th round in London.
Erling Haaland (£12.2m) – 84.3% TSB
Erling Haaland (£12.2m) did not play against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday. This time, the Norwegian watched the entire match from the bench, so he enters the derby against Liverpool completely fresh and rested.
Harry Kane (£11.4m) – 20.1% TSB
The goal against Brighton in the last round was Harry Kane’s eighth consecutive FPL return this season. He was injured in that match, but fears about his absence disappeared on Wednesday when he played the entire match in the Champions League. He scored a goal and an assist against Eintracht Frankfurt. Kane also missed a penalty, which is unusual for him. Harry is one of our candidates for captaincy this round.
