Leicester Team News

This season is going from bad to worse for Leicester. They suffered a late defeat against Crystal Palace on Saturday and they are now six games without a win in Premier League. They’ve won only one point in the last six games.

Because of that run, they slipped into the relegation zone and the board decided to sack Brendan Rodgers after four years in the club.

Leicester is now without a manager, without a win since the middle of February, and in the relegation zone. The ex-Premier League winner is in the toughest situation since 2015 when they were in the relegation fight last time.

Ten rounds till the end, Leicester has a very acceptable schedule. They have three hard games against Newcastle, Liverpool, and Man City, but in the other seven games, they will play against the clubs from the second half of the table.

But optimism around the fans is not big. Leicester failed to keep a clean sheet for 13 games in a row. They are conceding goals too easily and with 49 goals scored they have the third-worst defence in the league.

The Foxes have two back-to-back games at home against Aston Villa and Bournemouth in a space of four days. If they didn’t win some points, they are in big trouble.

Aston Villa Team News

Since Unai Emery came in in November, only three clubs are in better form and pick up more points than Aston Villa. When he took charge of the first team, Aston Villa was 17th in the table. Now, they are 9th with 41 points and they are only two points behind Brentford and Brighton who are in 6th and 7th place, respectively.

Aston Villa can dream about European football in the last 10 rounds. Villa is in great shape. They’re five games without a defeat and they pick up 13 points from a possible 15. Only Arsenal is in better form than Villa since the middle of February.

In the last 10 rounds, Aston Villa have a very difficult schedule. Six of the last 10 games they will play against the clubs who are between 3rd and 7th in the table. All above them. Plus, they will have a local derby against Wolverhampton.

They only have two games against the teams from the second half of the table and both games they will play this week in space of four days against Leicester and Nottingham. With six points, Villa will make a great step towards Europe.

Aston Villa has conceded only one goal in the last five games and kept four clean sheets. They scored at least a goal in the last 17 games in all competitions.

Away from home, Aston Villa is in a great run of five wins in the last seven games.

Leicester vs Aston Villa Prediction

Aston Villa is in a much better position, situation, form… Everything is on their side. Unai Emery is a fantastic coach and we transform this Villa team since November.

Aston Villa became a more organized team and the team which is very hard to break and beat. We believe that they can escape defeat at King Power Stadium.
