Brentford Team News

For a second season in a row, Brentford has fantastic results in the Premier League. Last season they finished in 13th place and now they are even better. After 26 rounds, Brentford has 41 points and 10 wins and they are 8th in the table.

Brentford is only three points behind Newcastle who is 5th and seven points behind Tottenham who is 4th in the table. The Bees can dream about European football for next season.

Brentford suffered an unexpected defeat against Everton last Saturday and that was their first defeat since 23rd October. They were 12 games undefeated in the Premier League. Only four days later they beat Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium and quickly returned to winning ways.

They lost to Everton 1-0 and that was only the second time in the last 14 games that Brentford failed to score a goal. They have had five clean sheets in the last 15 games.

At home Brentford is superb. They have only one defeat and it was against Arsenal back in September. They are six months, to the day, without a defeat at Brentford Community Stadium. In only two games (against Arsenal and Chelsea) they failed to score at home. They have scored at least two goals in five of their last six home games.

In the last 12 games, Brentford will have some difficult games. Seven of them will play against the top clubs in England.

Leicester Team News

At the start of February, Leicester had back-to-back victories against Aston Villa and Tottenham. They played fantastically in these games, and they scored eight goals in these games. It looks like that Leicester will move away from the relegation zone, it looks like Brendan Rodgers finally find a winning formula.

But that lasted very short. After games against Aston Villa and Tottenham, Leicester falls into a terrible run of results. They have five consecutive defeats in all competitions, and four consecutive defeats in Premier League.

The Foxes are 16th in the table with 24 points and seven wins after 26 games and 12 rounds before the season ends, they are in the relegation fight. They are above the relegation zone only because of goal difference and they are only two points above Southampton, who is in the last place.

Every game is a cup final for Leicester until they secure Premier League status for the next season. They have four very important games in the next few weeks against Brentford, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Bournemouth.

Leicester is 11 games without a clean sheet in Premier League and with 46 goals conceded they have the third-worst defence in the league.

Brentford vs Leicester Prediction

Brentford has a big motive to fight for a place in Europe next season and for Leicester, every game is a cup final because they are in the relegation fight.

Brentford is probably the favourite for winning all three points because they are in much better form and position this season.

But we will escape a bet on full-time here and goes for goals. We are expecting one entertaining game in London and goals on both ends.
