Led by one of the MVP candidates Rob Loe and a strong contingent of domestic players they currently look very menacing, especially with the depth they possess, but Taranaki are not a pushover team and should give them a proper fight in today´s game.

In the last round against the Nelson Giants, Auckland showed all of their might by absolutely thrashing a very solid Giants side by 34 points.
