After falling apart in the opener against Converge, it seemed NorthPort would suffer another blowout loss at the hands of the Bolts. The Meralco Bolts had everything under control against the depleted Batang Pier and even enjoyed a double-digit advantage at the start of the final frame.

Without two key domestic scorers in Robert Bolick and Arwind Santos, NorthPort somehow found a way back and even took the lead for a brief moment in the fourth canto. They didn´t have enough to keep it together, but showed grit and determination necessary to keep them competitive amidst their current struggles.
