Even though they currently sit at the bottom of the league, in the last couple of weeks the Taranaki Airs have slowly been putting together a team worthy of a playoffs push. First came the signing of their scoring leader from last season Anthony Hilliard, followed by the inclusion of new college reinforcement Tobias Cameron and it was all topped off two games ago when they replaced one of their imports David Azore with a new American import Kendrick Ray along with returning their old guard Carlin Davison, who both made an immediate impact in the massive away win against the Southland Sharks last week.
However, their team has been rife with injury this season and the main problem for the Airs is the fact they were rarely playing games with a complete roster, which is the main reason why they currently sit at the bottom of the league.
As far as injuries and absences are concerned, it seems that Taranaki are in trouble again since two of their leading imports, Anthony Hilliard and Armon Fletcher, are questionable for today´s game along with their main center Anzac Rissetto and an important domestic piece Richie Rodger.

After a huge road win over the Southland Sharks it seems that the Taranaki Airs are on the recovery road. The only problem for today´s game is the fact that two of their imports and best players, Anthony Hilliard and Armon Fletcher, are questionable because of injuries.
