The FiberXers needed more than two quarters to break down Terrafirma. They managed to pull away in the third canto and preserved their double-digit lead until the end, extending the Dyip´s losing streak to 17 consecutive games.

The 2018 PBA Commisioner´s Cup champions are eager to open their campaign with a win and showcase their new reinforcements. The Kings brought back their old import Justin Brownlee and boosted their already talented roster with superstar Jamie Malonzo from NorthPort.
Another new player to keep an eye on is Von Pessumal. His numbers in recent years haven´t been stellar, but Ginebra´s coach Tim Cone plans to give him a different role than he had with the Beermen.
