While everyone thought that the early season injury of their main star Tyrell Harrison would slow down the Franklin Bulls and endanger their entire season, the Bulls had other ideas. The signing of the American import Jared Wilson-Frame and the addition of a stretch center Matthew Freeman revitalized their roster just at the right moment as the Bulls suffered only three losses since the start of May and currently find themselves in third place in the standings.
Last weekend they only had one game on their schedule but they made it count as they took down the Taranaki Airs on home floor in what looks a narrow 93:87 win, but the Bulls controlled the game and the tempo from the start to finish and even enjoyed a 17-point lead in the third quarter.
