The Wellington Saints have been very unpredictable and unstable this season. Despite having a star-studded team at their disposal with the likes of Kyle Adnam, Izayah Le´Afa, Isaiah Mucius and Tohi Smith-Milner,they have struggled to find consistency, but currently still find themselves inside the playoff zone and the top 6.
Last weekend and two losses they suffered at the hands of the Franklin Bulls and Manawatu Jets confirmed how unstable they are and exposed all of their flaws. The integration of their new import Elijah Thomas, who came in to replace Marlon Taylor, hasn´t been as flawless as they hoped it would be and as a result the Saints suffered two road losses which have put them in a very awkward situation in the standings at the moment.
In addition, for this game they will be missing their main sixth man Taane Samuel, which will make winning today´s game even more demanding for them.
