Fantasy Premier League GW14 – Best Differentials
A lot of managers have doubts before the Fantasy Premier League GW14, primarily because they are waiting for news about Erling Haaland, who is injured. However, before every GW, I decided to make an article myself that will present several players who can be excellent differential. If they play well can make the important difference between a solid and an excellent game week.
Before we start talking about those differential players that can make a difference for you in GW14, I should mention that I had a solid GW13. I scored 61 points (no chips used), and I am currently 26k overall, and I sincerely hope that the progress will continue after this week. EPL GW-14: Best FPL Differentials
In GW14, we will have a complete round, so there will be no need to think too much about unavailable players. Of course, a certain number of popular selections are injured, but more on that in another article. Here I will suggest some excellent players that fly under the radar of most template managers. Don’t forget that having two or three top differential players can mean a big jump in your ranking. Here are some of my favorites:
Kepa Arrizabalaga (£4.5, 3.6% ownership, Brighton vs. Chelsea)
You probably already think I’m crazy, but if I couldn’t have Pope or Ederson in goal, my second pick would definitely be Kepa Arrizabalaga! Here’s why:
- Since the arrival of Potter, he has been the first-choice keeper
- Three consecutive CS
- All Potter teams play fantastic defense
- It costs only £4.5 million
- Amazing differential with only 2.6% ownership
The negative side is that Chelsea has a rather complicated schedule, but despite that, they will not be a big underdog in any match. On the other hand, Chelsea this round plays against Brighton and that might be a good thing. Graham Potter knows everything about his ex team. Just think about that.
Benjamin White (£4.6, 7.5% ownership, Arsenal vs. NFO)
Benjamin White is a player who has been flying under the radar for a long time. A player who has scored points in 7 out of 13 games and who costs just £4.6m has got to be in your team. When we add to that that less than 8% of managers around the world own it and that his Arsenal plays against one of the weaker teams in the league, the calculation is clear. This is a real differential.
Callum Wilson (£7.3, 2.4% ownership, Newcastle vs. Aston Villa)
When it comes to attackers, it is very difficult to find a hidden gem. Haaland, Kane, Mitrovic and Toney are in most teams, and that is quite expected. But if you are looking for a differential, this player can be an excellent solution. Newcastle is playing fantastically, and Wilson is the only real striker in the team, since Isak is injured.
What can be a problem for most managers is the price of £7.3 million, but only 2.4% own it. Also, if you look at the fact that everyone expects Almiron to play fantastically, it’s usually someone else who shines. I think it will be Callum Wilson!
