Roobet Cup is an online CSGO tournament held by a quite popular online gambling company. This tournament consists of 16 teams and a $250K prize pool. 1st place will receive $150K while 2nd will receive $50K and the rest is divided into smaller amounts for the top 8, while the other 8 don’t get anything.

Roobet Cup Schedule

This tournament is set into 4 different groups, A B C, and D.

Group A: FaZe, OG, BIG, Entropiq.

Group B: Cloud9, Complexity, Astralis, Movistar Riders.

Group C: Ence, Eternal Fire, Imperial, Mouz.

Group D: Furia, 9z, Outsiders, ForZe.

The top 2 teams from each group, which means 8 teams in total, will advance to the quarter-finals and compete in the playoffs. This tournament will go on from the 22nd of June until the 30th of June, and will all be played online.

The favorites of this tournament are FaZe, simply because they’re currently the best team in the world. Natus Vincere will not be playing at this tournament, so FaZe should be licking their lips here. Either way, they can’t let that distract them because it’s quite easy to lose in CSGO if you’re not on your A game, even for a team like FaZe. Other teams like 9z, Outsiders, ForZe, Mouz will also be playing here and it’s great to see because they don’t usually play in a lot of tournaments in this specific tier. They’re still tier 1 teams (except 9z) however they always seem to fall out or lose in qualifiers before actually getting a chance.

Roobet Cup Predictions

Regardless of FaZe having some weird results lately, we like this position here, mainly because OG will be playing with Mantu again instead of Degster. Mantu is on the team so it makes sense, however, Degster is a better player and he was filling in for Mantu in the last LAN event. OG are still a decent Tier 1 team, however, the task for FaZe here will be much easier with Degster not playing. They don’t have any h2h so we can’t really go off that, but skill-wise and map pool wise, this bet here are pretty good.

Game: FaZe vs OG, 22nd of June, 19:00 CET.
Bet: FaZe -1.5 (same as 2-0) Handicap
Odds: @ 2.10
Bookmaker: Bet365

Outsiders will be playing in tier 1 for the first time with this new roster. They added “Norb3rt” and “Fame” for “Yekindar” and “Buster”. This team is still lethal, and they’ve only played 2 games so far with this roster against Falcons and Illuminar, where they beat both of them 2-0. We do believe this Outsiders team can go further than what they already did with the previous roster, simply because the pieces are a good fit. ForZe on the other hand, have had some serious issues with their roster. They ended up losing to Mouz NXT yesterday and looked completely off.

Game: Outsiders vs ForZe, 23rd of June, 15:00 CET.
Bet: Outsiders ML
Odds: @ 1.83
Bookmaker: Bet365
