Lukas Rosol has surpisingly come into a bit of form the past couple of months, reaching the final of the Istanbul Challenger and losing to Jack Sock in the more recent Orleans Challenger. His most impressive win has been against Duckworth, where he was a large underdog, however Duckworth did have a long week where he was in a final just a couple days before. A win against Ritschard will be by far his most impressive win the past couple months.

Alexander Ritschard

Ritschard comes into this Challenger after a relatively successful US Open campaign, where he reached the main draw and took a set off Felix Auger Aliassime. He’s been playing some good tennis this year, but has been inconsistent. His huge serve saw him get into the final in the Forli Challenger in February, losing to Draper in a third set tiebreak. He’ll be coming to France hoping to win his first title of the year.
