Frances Tiafoe has been playing well in the North America hard court swing, and has made the semi finals of Atlanta (losing to Brooksby), quarter finals in Washington (losing to Kyrgios) and second round in Montreal (losing to Fritz). We were on Korda in the opening round of Cincinatti, and boy he delievered with a nice easy straight sets win over Khachanov. His serving, similarly to Tiafoe, was hitting the right spots and only conceded two break points.

The pair have faced each other three times so far, with Tiafoe winning every single won. More recently in Estoril where he beat Korda from a set down.
Prediction
As you can tell from the narrative of this piece, I can see both players holding their serve with a very high percentage. The ladder and over in sets seems nice. I agree on the pick’em odds the bookies have laid out, and if we use this strategy the O2.5 sets is a lot of value – assuming that we see a tight first set, the odds on it to go to three sets will likely be 2-2.1.
