Sabalenka has had a pretty tough year, breaking down numerous times on court and losing to players she should be easily beating. Her double faults sky rocketed earlier this year, and was ultimately her downfall after starting off the 2022 season losing to Juvan and Peterson. However she has made a nice comeback, reaching the semi finals of the US Open (winning the first set vs Swiatek) and now getting into the finals of the WTA Finals.

Caroline Garcia
Wow. What can we say about her season, and her form the past few months. Not many expected Garcia to burst back in the scene like she has, but many are here for it. She’s won three titles so far this year on all three surfaces, including a Masters title at Cincinnati. She managed to get into the semi finals of the US Open, and has been playing some stellar tennis this week – beating Gauff, Kasatkina and Sakkari.

I have this being a close match, and with this the over 2.5 sets line is very tempting. Another line which is calling to me is the Caroline Garcia moneyline. I don’t think her being a narrow underdog is right, and have her at least as a pick’em (I think you can even justify Garcia being a favourite).
