Jiri Vesely
Jiri Vesely, a player with a killer serve whatever the surface. We saw this in Dubai earlier this year, where he reached the final and took out Djokovic in straight sets as a huge underdog (12+ odds!). He had a crazy run that week, beating Habib, Popyrin, Cilic, RBA, Djokovic and Shapovalov before losing to Rublev in the final. Though after that he struggled to maintain that level of play, where he went on a six game losing streak before winning a couple of games in the Ilkley Challenger.
This is Vesely’s first match since Newport, where he withdrew against Johnson. There’s no doubt he may struggle in this match with a lack of match fitness, and questions will be asked about how much he’s recovered from his ‘thigh injury’.

There will be three bets today! Both are huge servers, and I fully expect a couple of near tie breaks and potentially three sets. With Vesely out of match practice and just recovering from an injury, his returns will likely be rough and if his serving is sharp, I like the O10.5, the over and also the money line for the underdog.
