Houston Texans vs. Seattle Seahawks Prediction, Tips & Odds – Dec. 12, 2021

Houston Texans
Houston Texans are arguably the worst team in the NFL this season. Against the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, they manage to lose a combined 71:0, and they also scored less than 10 points against the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. The whole drama related to quarterback Deshaun Watson has been going on since the start of the season and until that is resolved in winter, the Texans will not be able to move forward. Head coach David Culley is unlikely to keep the job and the impression is that the franchise needs a complete rebuild. Texans are terrible both in defense and offense.
They achieved their only big win three weeks ago when they surprised the Tennessee Titans, however, the opponent underestimated them which will be hard to repeat for anyone until the end of the season. Probably the main goal for Texans is to be the worst to have the first pick in the next draft where they will probably draft the quarterback who they expect to be the face of the franchise in the coming years.

Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks fans could not imagine this epilogue this season, even in their worst nightmares. After experiencing an awkward loss in the playoffs from the Los Angeles Rams last year, they seemed to be doing everything they could to win the division again and make a breakthrough in January, but that didn’t happen. Five weeks before the end of the regular season, the Seahawks have to win a minimum of four, and probably all five games, to make it to the playoffs. Russell Wilson’s injury has directly affected several defeats, however, that is not the only reason for the weak season.
Still, the Seahawks played their best match of the year against the San Francisco 49ers last week and it is certain that there is still a belief in their heads that the playoffs can be reached. They travel to Houston in a good mood with the idea of achieving their second triumph in a row. That’s something they haven’t done yet in 2021.

Injuries
The Houston Texans will not have Terrence Brooks due to a hamstring injury, and Brandin Cooks, Jonathan Greenard, Jimmy Moreland, and Kevin Pierre-Louis are questionable.
Jamal Adams, Brandon Shell, Kyle Fuller and Travis Horner will not play for the Seattle Seahawks in this match.
Previous Results and H2H
After 12 weeks, the Houston Texans are at 2-10, while the Seattle Seahawks are at 4-8. At home, the Texans won only the first round of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Seahawks have 2-4 at road. The last time these teams played each other was more than four years ago when the Seahawks won 41:38 in Seattle.
Houston Texans vs Seattle Seahawks Prediction
Pick: Seattle Seahawks -7.5
Odds: 1.80
Bookmaker: 22Bet
The Houston Texans are more focused on next season than their goal is to finish this one well. The Seattle Seahawks, on the other hand, still believe they can make the playoffs and will be maximally set to celebrate this week. The quality ratio is on the side of the visitors and it is to be expected that they will win without major problems.
