Brooklyn Nets
It’s fair to say that this season the Brooklyn Nets have looked amazing thus far. With the loss of Kyrie Irving (out due to personal issues), they seem to have adapted well and look like top contenders. Kevin Durant is in the MVP race along with Steph Curry and currently averages 28.6 points per game this season. Other players like Patty Mills, LaMarcus Aldridge have been fantastic offensively, same goes for Bruce Brown and DeAndre Bembry on the defense side of things. The main focus here is on James Harden.
We know he has been struggling this season due to the new foul rules that apply to the league, and also, with the loss of Kyrie Irving, Harden needs to run the offense. He stated several times that he doesn’t know when to score and when to playmake (assist). When the Nets played against Knicks a few days ago, he looked amazing offensively and looked like the old Houston Harden, where he attacked the rim and played with total confidence.
The main reasoning for this was because he and Reggie Miller (NBA legend, now a commentator) had a discussion together where Reggie told him that he is James Harden and has to go out there and play like the Harden we are used to seeing. Harden stated after the game that the talk with Reggie helped him a lot; Harden finished the night with 34 points.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Timberwolves have been fantastic this season compared to last season. D’Angelo Russell seems to play with much more confidence on the offensive end and knocks down a lot of shots. The trio of Karl Anthony Towns – D’Angelo Russell – Anthony Edwards seem to click very well. All 3 of them are performing well individually, and with the addition of Patrick Beverly, this team seems to play with so much more confidence and can actually beat good teams.
They are currently 11-11 in the Western Conference and have beaten teams like Milwaukee Bucks, LA Lakers, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, etc.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction
This game is played at Barclays Center (Brooklyn), and with how the Nets are playing, we expect them to win this game. As stated earlier, we believe the Timberwolves can beat many good teams, but the Nets are easily top 3 NBA teams and have way too much firepower on the roster. We don’t see them losing this game with how Kevin Durant is playing.
We stated earlier that James Harden has started to look like the old Harden we all know, and that talk with Reggie helped him a lot in gaining his confidence again and playing aggressive like he is meant to. We feel Harden will come in this game just like against the Knicks, and attack the paint and also doing his signature step-back 3, taking a lot of shots and hopefully scoring.
Prediction: James Harden Over 22.5 Points
Odds: 1.83
