Vegas Golden Knights vs. San Jose Sharks Prediction, Tips & Odds – Apr. 25, 2022

The Vegas Golden Knights continue their playoff hunt today with a game against the San Jose Sharks who are only playing for pride. The Knights haven´t had the best of times lately dropping a couple of important games but their playoff hopes are still more than alive.
Vegas Golden Knights
Last year in October the Golden Knights were clear favourites to win the Pacific Division and easily make the playoffs. However, they didn´t follow up on expectations and currently find themselves in a very tight and tense playoff battle in which every game is crucial.
With their last round´s dramatic win over the Washington Capitals they managed to keep themselves in the mix. That game had it all as they managed to turn around a one-goal deficit from the opening period and take the lead at the start of the third. However, they couldn´t hold their nerve and allowed a late equalizer but then got the job done in overtime.

San Jose Sharks
Not being able to make the playoffs hasn´t prevented the Sharks to achieve some good results recently. After a disastrous 10-game losing streak, they finally recovered four days ago by beating the Columbus Blue Jackets in front of their fans(3:2). A game after they suffered a home loss to the St. Louis Blues, but then followed up with their best game in the last month or so convincingly taking down the Chicago Blackhawks by 4:1.
Relying on their recent strong form they will be looking to spoilt the party in the Sin City. They definitely have some things going for them at the moment but will be facing a tough task against a well-motivated home team.

Vegas Golden Knights vs San Jose Sharks Prediction
After some inconsistent form, the Knights stepped it up in their last game and took down a very strong Capitals team. Backed by their home crowd they should be able to prevail once again and win critical points. Strong pick for this game is the home team to win and to cover the spread but we think there is more value in the Total Under.
The Sharks will be playing their third game in just four days and should be fatigued. Their offense hasn´t been very productive but they boast very strong goaltending in James Reimer who should be able to stifle the Knights and their unstable offense.
Pick: Total Under 6.5 goals(excluding OT/pen.)
Odds: 1.68
