Tobol
Last season, Tobol won the Kazakhstan Premier League for the second time in club’s history. They expected that they could repeat Astana and Kairat results in Europe. Thanks to the title, both mention clubs had an easier way to the group stage in Europe in past few years, but Tobol is not doing very well. In the first round of the Champions League qualifying, they were eliminated by Ferencvaros and now they are very close to be eliminated from the Conference League as well.
