Sloboda
Due to ongoing works on Tusanj stadium in Tuzla, Sloboda play their home matches in other towns. They played against Tuzla City in Gradacac, while now they will meet Borac in Banovici. This makes it even more difficult for the team, which doesn’t have particularly high quality in the squad this season.
Sloboda was fighting to avoid relegation until the very end last season. Fortunately for them, they stayed in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but roster is even weaker now. Some important players like Dzenis Beganovic, Fedor Predragovic, Mladen Veselinovic and Josip Balic left, while new players were brought in from lower tier clubs. This season will be perhaps the most difficult for Sloboda in the last few years.

However, a lot of unexpected things have happened since then and it’s clear to everyone that road to the title will be much more difficult than previously expected.
Borac started 2022/2023 season with a 2:0 win against B36 Torshavn in the first round of the Conference League qualifying. However, in the next game Borac shockingly lost 3:1 in Faroe Islands and have been eliminated after penalty shooutout. All this affected chemistry inside locker room, so coach Lalatovic offered to resign twice. Board didn’t accept his resignation and Borac now looking better.
After only one point was collected in the first two rounds of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borac defeated Sloga Doboj and Igman in last two games. Since stadium in Banja Luka is also being renovated, Borac is playing home games on a neutral ground, just like Sloboda.
