Lens has recovered from a run of three games without a win in all competitions with a convincing win against Clermont 0-4. Lois Openda scored a five-minute hat-trick in that game.
Lens is now four games without a defeat in the Ligue 1 and they are still in a very good position to fight for a place in the Champions League.
This is one of the best seasons in Lens’ modern history. They are 3rd in the table with 54 points and 15 wins after 27 games. The last time that they were this high on the table was in the 2006/07 season when they had finished in 5th place.
