In the last five years, Cluj has been the ruler of football in Romania. They have won five straight titles and it doesn’t look like that streak will stop this season. Pyunik
Pyunik is the most successful club in Armenia with 15 titles. All other clubs together have 16 titles, and Shirak and Alashkert share second place with four each. However, Pyunik had a very weak period in the last five years. Before this year, they won their last title back in 2015. Last season, Alashkert became the first Armenian club to play in the group stage of European competition. Pyunik hopes to repeat its success this summer.
This team is a classic foreign legion. In the first game against Cluj, there were only two Armenian players in starting 11.
