Tottenham once again finished the game away from home in Europe without a win. Their history in European away games is terrible in the last couple of years. The pressure is on Conte and his players to win this game against Eintracht because Tottenham has back-to-back games in the Champions League at home. Firstly, against Eintracht and in two weeks against Sporting. They must win all six points from these two games.
Tottenham played one very tough game against Brighton on Saturday. They won 1-0 away from home and Antonio Conte made changes in the formation and switched to 3-5-2 with Yves Bissouma coming in place of Richarlison. Matt Doherty take Emerson’s place because the Brazilian defender was suspended.
Tottenham is very strong in that formation, a very compact team that is hard to break. They manage to keep back-to-back clean sheets for the first time since August. The Italian manager will probably once again play in a 3-5-2 formation.
Eintracht Frankfurt Team News
Eintracht come to this game after a very poor display in Bundesliga where they suffered a 3-0 defeat against Bochum. Oliver Glasner changed the formation for that game and switched from 3-4-2-1 to 4-2-2-2 and made five changes into starting eleven.
With that defeat, Eintracht stopped their run of four games without defeat in all competitions. This season Frankfurt is very good when they play away from home. That game against Bochum was the first that they finished without scoring a goal but at the same time, they keep only one clean sheet away from home since the start of the season.
This game is very important for Eintracht because they have two away games left in the Champions League and if they lose in London, they will be in a much more difficult position if they want to qualify for the knockout stage.

Conte will make a rotation and probably Emerson and Perisic will start instead of Sessegnon and Doherty. Also, Clement Lenglet will take Ben Davies’ place and we will see if Conte will once again stick with a 3-5-2 formation.
