Barnsley was relegated from Championship last season and they changed the team quite a lot. They signed seven new players with an average age of 23 years and this team will be very interesting to watch. They have good players and they can attack a place in the top 6 and playoffs.
Barnsley changed manager too at the end of the season and they appointed former Cheltenham Town boss Michael Duff who has done an incredible job with Cheltenham Town in the past two seasons.

In the first round, they lose to Peterborough 3-2 and that will be a major problem for this club – defence. Last season Cheltenham conceded 80 goals and only four clubs conceded more. The defence is weaker this season and the new manager Wade Elliott will have a very tough job.
