South China vs Tycoon | Hong Kong Cup – Oct. 13, 2021

In a highly anticipated game defending champions, South China takes on the vice-champions Tycoon in the Senior Silver Shield which is the premier basketball competition in Hong Kong. Tycoon managed to win both of their games so far. They convincingly took down Kangren Fujian(108:69) and then overcame a very solid Winling side(89:78). However, their last win had a major downside and that was losing one of their best players Zhou Jianhong who suffered an Achilles tendon rupture.

According to the medical reports he will be sidelined until the end of the season which is a huge loss for their team. They don´t have any imports and their starters score the majority of the points. Against the main title favorites, it will be tough for them to stay competitive throughout the entire 40 minutes without him.

Defending champions South China have a very good h2h record against Tycoon who always has problems handling their naturalized center and former CBA player Duncan Reid. Tycoon are a man down which is another plus for South China who should be favorites in this match.
