Panamian LPB is slowly heating up. Tonight fifth-placed Panteras take on the league leaders Correcaminos in an exciting match. Correcaminos have recently had some player turnover, which slightly crippled their performances, while Panteras are in the best form this season.

Titleholders Correcaminos still sit at the top, but with their recent two losses, they are looking more vulnerable than ever. One of their leading scorers, Trevor Gaskins, is out, and also another important player, Yosimar Stewart, didn´t play in their last game. His status for this match remains unknown. Gaskins certainly won´t play as he´s already been replaced by a Cuban import Adriano Barreras who had a great season recently in Bolivia.

After these roster changes and a short break, Correcaminos lost two games out of three. Those were their first losses of the season but last night they partially healed their wounds by beating outsiders Toros. They had a tough time against them and won the game in the last quarter.

This game is back-to-back for them against a very dangerous Panteras side who´ve won their last four games. With Dominican import Raimer Santana and their captain Alejandro Grant, they are looking very dangerous at the moment as they managed to beat very strong sides like Universitarios, Dragones, and Caballos.
