San Antonio Spurs are 5-3 this season and they have played much better than expected. In the off season, they traded Dejounte Murray for multiple picks in what happens to be a rebuild-mode for them and increase their chances in getting the #1 2023 prospect Victor Wembanyama. So far they have played much better than everybody expected and their young guys are absolutely balling, so we are not sure how much of a “tank” they’ll end up doing.
Los Angeles Clippers are 4-4 this season and they have been dealing with some injuries. Kawhi Leonard is again to miss out of the road trip games simply because he’s still rehabbing from his knee surgery which he’s ben dealing with for a long time now. It’s becoming annoying for Clippers fans as he’s their best player and has barely played in the time that he’s spent over there. The Clippers are one of the favorites to win the Western Conference but so far they’ve had a slow start.
