Anadolu Efes won the Euroleague for second year in a row in May and now they have a chance to become the first club since Jugoplastika to make a three-peat. Unlike previous years, Efes has changed few players this time and they are entering new season with some new faces.
During this summer, Krunoslav Simon, Adrien Moerman, Chris Singleton, Filip Petrusev and James Anderson left Istanbul. Will Clyburn, Achille Polonara, Amath M’Baye and Ante Zizic were signed instead. On paper, Efes looks even more powerful. Shane Larkin will be out until December due to a hand injury and that could be a big problem.
