Darussafaka
In the last seven years, Darussafaka has positioned itself as one of the best clubs in Turkey, but this is the first time since 2017 that they advance to the Turkish League semifinals. They mostly ended their journey in the quarterfinals, and now they have a chance to go all the way to the finals. This is the fourth season since Selcuk Ernan is head coach and he had some very good results in Europe as well with this team. Darussafaka was eliminated in the top 16 phase of the FIBA Champions League this season, while they were defeated by Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Cup semifinals. In the last game against Fenerbahce, they made a break and if they win both matches at home, they will advance to the finals. In starting five, Darussafaka has five foreign players (Troy Caupain, Wayne McCollough, Isaiah Pineiro, Nathan Boothe, and Gabriel Olaseni) and they spend most of their time on the court with Sinan Guler and Dogus Ozdemiroglou. Other players don’t have a big role in important games and did not have it in the first two clashes against Fenerbahce in this series.

Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce will try to forget this season as soon as possible and focus on what is coming in near future. Club president Ali Koc pointed out to the media that Aleksandar Djordjevic will not be head coach next season, although the Serbian expert has a clause according to which he would remain the coach if Fenerbahce wins the Turkish League. Some of the players who have been leaders in recent years like Nanda De Colo and Jan Vesely are going to leave the team this summer and rebuilding will follow. The main candidate to succeed Djordjevic is Dimitris Itoudis, who is almost certainly leaving CSKA due to the club’s inability to participate in the Euroleague. Regardless of all that, Fenerbahce will try to end the season in a good way and at least secure a place in the domestic championship finals. After playing impressively against Darussafaka in the first game, they completely failed in game number two. They allowed the opponent a lot of easy points in the paint, while Boothe was unstoppable in three-point shots. Those are the things that Djordjevic will have to fix in this clash.

H2H
This semifinals series is played in best of 5, and the current result is 1-1. Now, Darussafaka will host Fenerbahce twice. In the regular season, these teams played twice against each other and H2H was 1-1, so it is 2-2 in total this season.
Injuries
All players are available for both coaches, but Fenerbahce can only use five foreign players, so some will surely miss this game.
Prediction
Despite all the rumors circulating around the club, Fenerbahce must not allow itself to be eliminated against Darussafaka and will certainly react in this game. Both clubs are from Istanbul, so it is realistic that visitors will have much more support from the stands.
