Reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks have not had an impressive regular season, but with the start of the playoffs, it has become clear that they may again be the main contenders to win the NBA title. Giannis Antetokounmpo was unstoppable against the Chicago Bulls and even Boston Celtics didn’t find a way to slow him down too much in the first game. Khris Middleton will almost certainly be off the court through the entire series which should in theory be a huge advantage for the Celtics, but that was not the case on Sunday. Jrue Holiday took responsibility and played great in offense, while Bobby Portis also had a fantastic role with some extremely important shots.
It is noticeable that Bucks no longer have the pressure that was present in previous years and the main reason for that is winning the title last year. They entered this playoff more relaxed than ever and that could unlock all the potential this team has. Mike Budenholzer has once again shown how great a coach he is and if they win again in Boston and go up 2-0, it will take a real miracle for the Celtics to come back.
