Boston Celtics played impressively in the first round of the playoffs against the Brooklyn Nets where they swept them. Immediately, the Celtics became one of the main favorites for the title, but right at the beginning of the Eastern Conference semifinals, they hit a wall. Milwaukee Bucks came to Boston and took the win, so now the Celtics have to win game number two to keep realistic chances to advance to Conference Finals. The bucks managed to get Celtics out of the paint and this is something for which head coach Ime Udoka will have to find an answer in next game. All Celtics superstars (Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart) had poor shooting night, but the Bucks’s excellent defense is most responsible for that.
In the first game, the Celtics shot as many as 50 times for three points and 34 times for two points, which is certainly not the way how you should play against Bucks. Robert Williams needs help in paint as the Celtics have to find a way to score as many easy points as possible.

Reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks have not had an impressive regular season, but with the start of the playoffs, it has become clear that they may again be the main contenders to win the NBA title. Giannis Antetokounmpo was unstoppable against the Chicago Bulls and even Boston Celtics didn’t find a way to slow him down too much in the first game. Khris Middleton will almost certainly be off the court through the entire series which should in theory be a huge advantage for the Celtics, but that was not the case on Sunday. Jrue Holiday took responsibility and played great in offense, while Bobby Portis also had a fantastic role with some extremely important shots.
It is noticeable that Bucks no longer have the pressure that was present in previous years and the main reason for that is winning the title last year. They entered this playoff more relaxed than ever and that could unlock all the potential this team has. Mike Budenholzer has once again shown how great a coach he is and if they win again in Boston and go up 2-0, it will take a real miracle for the Celtics to come back.
“Defensively the edge, the focus was appropriate. Now we just gotta do it again on Tuesday.”

Boston Celtics have won their first two games against Milwaukee Bucks this season, but since then Bucks have recorded three consecutive wins, including this one in the playoffs. These two teams played against each other in the playoffs back in 2018 and 2019. The Celtics won 4-3 in the series in 2018, while a year later the Bucks won 4-1.
All players are available for Boston Celtics. Khris Middleton will most likely miss the entire series for Milwaukee Bucks, while George Hill is questionable for game number two.
Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks Prediction
Game number one was quite unusual and the Celtics completely fell out of their comfort zone. Ime Udoka will surely find a way to correct all mistakes and adjust to what the Bucks played, and it is realistic that it will be 1-1 in the series after two games.
Pick: Boston Celtics -3HC

Celtics vs Bucks Player Total Prediction
Jrue Holiday ended up on 25 points last game, attempting 20 shots and making 8 of them. He’s the 2nd option now that Khris Middleton is out, next to Giannis, so we expect him to have a great game here.
Pick: Jrue Holiday Over 19.5 Points
