Meetings between these two are traditionally tight: 11 of the last 12 ended under 2.5 goals, and three of the four meetings since 2020 finished 1-0 to Iraq. With two blunt attacks facing each other, we expect a low-scoring game.

Saudi Arabia vs Kuwait (20:00)
Hosts Saudi Arabia open the tournament in poor form, without a win in four games and with just one win in nine since September 2025. Kuwait’s matches almost always produce goals at both ends: both teams have scored in six of their last seven games and in 69% of their 23 matches since October 2024. Veteran striker Yousef Nasser, who has 58 international goals, is back in training after a muscle strain.
