Thomas Tuchel Confirms – Antonio Rüdiger Is Leaving Chelsea
Throughout the season, the rumor was that the German defender, who entered the last year of his contract, don’t want to sign a new contract with the reigning European champion and that he would leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. It was speculated for a long time that he could change his mind and stay as a part of the Blues, both next and in the upcoming seasons, but Thomas Tuchel resolved all dilemmas after the game with West Ham and confirmed that Rüdiger is definitely leaving Chelsea. Rüdiger will leave us. We can’t fight because of the sanctions. We don’t take it personally. That’s his decision, the German coach said.
Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, announced immediately after the game that Antonio Rüdiger had signed a four-year deal with Real Madrid and had already signed a preliminary contract. The 29-year-old defender came to Chelsea in the summer of 2017, when he left Italian Roma for 30 million pounds. He played 196 matches, scored 12 goals, and won four trophies.
In addition to Rüdiger, Chelsea will lose another defender over the summer, as the contract also expires for Danish footballer Andreas Christensen.
The agreement between Antonio Rüdiger and Real Madrid will be signed in the next few days as expected. New contacts to prepare the paperworks. Deal until June 2026. ⚪️🤝 #RealMadrid

A Serious Injury for Tino Livramento, He’s in for a Long Break
A bummer for Southampton’s right-back. A young and talented English player was seriously injured in the game against Brighton on Sunday, making him leave the field on a stretcher. It seems that he’ll have a long break from the field. It’s still too early to make presumptions, but it’s suspected that his anterior cruciate ligaments were damaged because Livramento hurt himself without a contact.
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl said after the game that he still couldn’t say what the diagnosis was, but the injury didn’t look very good. There’s a possibility that the 19-year-old will miss a good chunk of next season.
Tino Livramento came to the “back door” from Chelsea last summer for just five million pounds. He settled down in Hasenhüttl’s team and became a favorite of many players. He has played 28 games in the Premier League this season and scored one goal and one assist.
Will Antonio Conte Stay on the Tottenham’s Bench Next Season?
Rumour has it that the Italian will leave Spurs after just seven months on the bench. Antonio Conte became Tottenham’s coach at the beginning of November when he replaced Nuno Espírito Santo, who was fired after only four months. The Italian coach has changed a lot in Tottenham’s game. The team looks much more organized on the field, and the results are much better. That is also confirmed by the fact that Tottenham was tenth in the table when Antonio Conte became coach, and now they’re in fifth place, only two points behind Arsenal, which holds fourth place – a ticket to the Champions League.
Many think that getting into the Champions League will be a turning point in Conte’s decision to stay in London next season. The problem for Tottenham’s fans is that a tempting position has opened in Paris. All the French media announced that Mauricio Pochettino is a step away from being replaced, despite winning the title in France, and Antonio Conte could take his spot on the bench. Conte has another year of contract with Tottenham, but he won’t have a problem leaving it if the Parisians really made the call.
Some journalists closely connected with the events in the Lilywhite’s camp report that Daniel Levy has promised big investments in the playing squad and that Antonio Conte will get all the necessary financial resources to make Tottenham a more serious competitor in England and Europe next season.
It looks like the final position of Tottenham at the end of the season could be crucial to the Italian’s decision whether to stay in North London until the end of the contract or not. Tottenham had everything in their hands when it came to the Champions League placement. Still, with two consecutive setbacks against Brighton and Brentford, they lost their place and now have to chase Arsenal.
In the next round (Sunday, 15.00), they welcome Leicester City.
Tottenham Hotspur supporters would you rather keep Antonio Conte or a return to Mauricio Pochettino

Everton Close to Relegation, Frank Lampard Criticised Referees
The Toffees suffered a 2-0 defeat by Liverpool in a major Merseyside derby and, after the Burnley’s victory over Wolverhampton, fell into the relegation zone.
Everton defended well and organized, but Liverpool still managed to break the resistance in the last half of the hour and get three important points in the fight for the title, significantly complicating the situation for their neighbor. Frank Lampard said after the match that, in his opinion, head referee Stuart Attwell was wrong and that he should have awarded a penalty after Anthony Gordon was knocked down by Joël Matip in the penalty area in the second half.
That was a penalty in the second half. But I don’t think they are condemned here. It would have been a penalty if Mo Salah had been on the other side. I played in teams from the top half of the table; you get a penalty for what happened.
Everton is now ranking 18th with 29 points. They are two points behind Burnley but with one match less. Everton awaits two very difficult games as, over the next 12 days, they’ll first host Chelsea at Goodison and then visit Leicester at the King Power stadium. Frank Lampard has to find a way out because his team can’t come out of these two games without winning a single point, given that Burnley has a two-point advantage and a much easier schedule for the next two weeks. The Turf Moor team plays against Watford and Aston Villa.
Fulham Is Back in the Premier League
We’ll watch the Craven Cottage team again in the upcoming season in the strongest English competition. By beating Preston last week, Fulham secured promotion three rounds before the end of the championship and will be playing among the elite next season (again).
Over the past few years, Fulham has become a real yo-yo club. Too strong for the Championship, too weak for the Premier League. If only they could create a special league for them. This is their third promotion from the Championship in the last five years. In the previous two cases, they fell out of the strongest rank too easily, and fans hope this will not happen next season.
By the end of the season, Fulham is chasing the Championship title, and to achieve it, they need to score at least four points in the last three games.
