Does Anyone Want to Get into the Champions League?
Judging by the results of recent weeks, no. Arsenal lost, Tottenham too, and West Ham barely took a point. Only Manchester United showed some strength against Norwich on the home field. The best betting sites are all over the place with the odds at the moment, as nobody knows which teams will qualify for UCL.
The fight for the fourth place is still completely open. At the moment, Tottenham is the team in that desired position with 57 points. Antonio Conte’s team has an advantage of only three points over Manchester United, who is in fifth place, and Arsenal, who is sixth. After yesterday’s draw with Burnley, the gap between West Ham and Spurs is now five points.
The following two weekends could answer the question of who can be the fourth and clarify the situation a little. Man Utd and Arsenal have big derbies during the week. The Red Devils travel to Anfield for a duel against their great rival Liverpool, while Arsenal goes to Stamford Bridge and a joust with Chelsea. The upcoming weekend will bring a big derby between Arsenal and Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium, while West Ham has a city derby with Chelsea. Tottenham also expects a city derby against the fantastic Brentford, which had three subsequent victories.
After that, Man Utd and Chelsea play at Old Trafford during the week, and Arsenal and West Ham will meet on the first day of May. Antonio Conte’s party starts May with a game against Leicester on the home field. There will be a lot of drama in the battle for fourth place. After the weekend break, Liverpool and Manchester City will return to fight for the title.

Liverpool Gets to the FA Cup Finale after 10 Years, Chelsea Third Time in a Row!
Precisely ten years after that famous FA Cup final against Second Division Cardiff, Liverpool managed to reach the finale of the oldest competition in the world again.
Jürgen Klopp outwitted Pep Guardiola at the Wembley Stadium and won 3-2. Pep had to play without several key players. Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker were missing due to injuries, and Zack Steffen replaced Ederson on the goal. On the other hand, Klopp didn’t want to rotate. He rested his essential players during the week against Benfica and started with big guns from the first minute. Another thing that didn’t benefit the Citizens was a grueling duel with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League during the week.
Liverpool finished the job in the first 45 minutes with a 0-3 lead. Man City managed to minimize it to 2-3 but couldn’t bring the match to overtime. In the second semi-final, played on Sunday, Chelsea was better than Crystal Palace with 2-0, scored by Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount.
As we’ve already mentioned, this is the first FA Cup final for Liverpool in exactly ten years, since 2012 and the triumph over Cardiff. The first final of this competition was in the era of Jürgen Klopp. This is the third FA Cup final in the series for Chelsea, and fans are hoping it will be the third time’s a charm, given that they were defeated in the two previous finals: 2020 by Arsenal and a year later by Leicester.
The finale is scheduled for May 14 at the Wembley Stadium. Liverpool is chasing the eighth trophy in this competition, and Chelsea its ninth.

The End of an Era – Sean Dyche Left Burnley!
No one believed that this would ever happen. Burnley and Sean Dyche were made for each other. For ten years, they have been chasing Premier League and Championship rivals. It seemed like Burnley has its own Alex Ferguson, who always finds a way to bring survival to the club. Nobody doubted that he would find a solution to save them in this season as well. Still, after the news published on Friday, Burnley is now the biggest favorite for relegation from the League, along with Norwich.
After ten years, Burnley’s management decided to replace Sean Dyche on the bench. The whole football world was shocked by this news, given that Dyche is the main reason Burnley is in the Championship. Secondly, there are only eight games left until the end of the season; why fire a manager now?
Sean Dyche became the Burnley’s manager in October 2012, when Eddie Howe was fired. In his second season, he managed to bring them to the Premier League and make one solid team and a stable Premier League club with very little investment. Burnley ended the 2017/18 season in a fantastic seventh place and played in UEFA Europe League qualification, their first European outing after 51 years.
Ben Mee took on the role of interim coach and took a point from the London Stadium against West Ham on his debut. The Clarets have four significant matches ahead of them in which they must score as many points as possible: Southampton, Wolverhampton, Watford, and Aston Villa. The bolded matches are played at home.
Burnley have sacked Sean Dyche.

Bruno Guimarães Is Slowly Becoming the Leader of Newcastle United
The Brazilian midfielder begins to justify the compensation of 35 million pounds that the club from the St. James Park gave for him in the January transfer window.
He could have gone to a much stronger club. That’s for sure. But he decided to become part of the ambitious project of the new owners of Newcastle United. Bruno Guimarães somewhat surprisingly replaced Lyon with cold Newcastle. But it seems he wasn’t wrong.
At first, he was getting used to the league, the rhythm, the country. Eddie Howe gave him a chance off the bench, and he used it well. Over the past 5-6 weeks, he has entered the starting line-up and repaid the fans with three goals against Southampton and Leicester, which immediately brought the Magpies six points.
He’s excellent with the ball, good in defense, and creative. He’s dangerous from the background, and the real engine is in the middle of the field. In his first 11 games for Newcastle, he scored three goals, the same number as he scored in his last 71st game for Lyon. There’s no doubt that Newcastle got a great player around whom the team will be built in the future.
