Hello NBA fans, and welcome to our weekly review of the best basketball league in the world! Many things happened in the past couple of days, so we will not make this introduction long. Kyrie Irving is cleared to play home games

After a long season with Kyrie Irving only being able to play away games since January, he’s now cleared to play home games too. The private sector mandate got changed by Mayor Eric Adams, allowing him and also other competitors in other sports such as MLB, to be able to play home games. This was something most people in New York had a problem with because the rule didn’t make sense in the first place. To say the least, we are happy that Kyrie Irving is back and playing full time as the Nets look to go on a run in the Eastern Conference.

Ben Simmons still hasn’t made any progress

After the Harden – Simmons trade, Ben Simmons was reported to have a herniated disc (lower back pain problems) and is unable to do any court work whatsoever. He ended up getting injections which minimize the pain, however, we are not sure if he will return to play this season nor in the postseason. If his injury goes away, it will be extremely difficult to ramp up considering he hasn’t played for a full season, also the fact that he has to fit into a system.

Boston Celtics take 1st seed but suffer an injury

Boston Celtics were 11th seed at one point this season, they turned the season around the post all-star break and went on a massive run, reaching 1st seed in the Eastern Conference. The top 4 in the East is tied between Celtics, Bucks, Heat, and Sixers, however, the Celtics remain 1st at this moment. The only problem with the Celtics is that last night, Robert Williams suffered a knee injury which appears to be a meniscus tear. We are not sure how long he will be out, however, we hope that he comes back for the playoffs so we can see the Celtics at full strength.
