NBA All-Star starters & captains
A few days ago, the poll was finally finished, and the all-star starters & captains were selected. This does not include the bench and will only be for the main lineups. We are here to break it down to you and give our opinion on what we think.
Western Conference Starters:
Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies)
LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers)
Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets)
Andrew Wiggins (Golden State Warriors)
Eastern Conference Starters:
DeMar DeRozan (Chicago Bulls)
Trae Young (Atlanta Hawks)
Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets)
Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers)
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks)
The captains for each conference will be LeBron James (West) – Kevin Durant (East).
At #NBAAllStar 2010, a rookie @StephenCurry30 answered the question: “Where are you going to be in 10 years/what kind of player will you be?”

The most obvious part here is the captains, another year of Kevin Durant and Lebron James representing each conference which is fair considering they’re the best players in the world. Western Conference starters are pretty obvious except that Ja Morant really improved this season compared to last and is now considered an all-star and a top point guard with a bright future. Andrew Wiggings being a starter surprised a lot of people, but he has improved his game quite a lot.
For the East, we would agree with the selections being completely fair as every player has had a spectacular season thus far, and it totally makes sense. Kevin Durant will not be participating due to an MCL-sprain injury, so another player will end up starting who’s meant to be on the bench.
The All-Star Game takes place in Cleveland on 20th February, don’t miss it!
