Hello NBA fans, and welcome to our weekly review of the best basketball league in the world! Many things happened in the past couple of days, so we will not make this introduction long. 3PT Contest, Dunk Contest, Skills Challenge
It was overall a fun weekend, however, the dunk contest was a bit disappointing. The dunks were simply not as creative as they used to be when Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine did them a few years ago, and it was just a massive disappointment. The winner of the dunk contest was Obi Toppin.
Skills Challenge was entertaining because it was a new format. You had to dribble through the obstacles, make a floater, then make a corner 3, and finish off to the other end with a layup. After that was done, the two teams who advanced to the finals, had to make a half-court shot in order to win the challenge. The winner of the Skills Challenge was Team Cavs (Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen).
3PT Contest was also very entertaining and probably the best challenge for that weekend. The format was the same, two money balls, normal balls, and balls that give you an extra point. The winner of this challenge was surprisingly, Karl Anthony Towns. He has been saying how he’s one of the best shooters from the Center category in the league, and this simply does put him up there.

All-Star Game, Team Lebron vs Team Durant:
We are not gonna go much into details because it was a long and entertaining game. The MVP of the All-Star game was Steph Curry, 50 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists. He was simply on fire the whole night, draining long 3 pointers like he always does. Lebron James had 24 points and also hit the game-winner. Team Lebron won this game 163-160.

Goran Dragic traded to the Brooklyn Nets
Goran Dragic was traded from Miami Heat to Toronto Raptors. He did not want to play for Toronto so they came to an agreement to trade him somewhere else. Brooklyn Nets were interested in requiring the veteran Goran Dragic, because of the whole Kyrie Irving situation being part-time, they could use a backup guard in that position. Goran Dragic will also be reuniting with Steve Nash as they used to be teammates back in the day. The Nets also have 16 players, so they decided to waive Jevon Carter in order to make space because 15 players are the maximum you can have on a roster.
