Hello eSports fans, and welcome to our weekly review! Many things happened in the past couple of days, so we will not make this introduction long. Let’s start with the latest news, stories, latest results, and what holds for next week! Also, don’t forget to read our Free eSports Predictions!

CS: GO

Last week the ESL Pro League Season 15 kicked off (LAN Tournament). The tournament is based on 4 groups (A, B, C, D), and 6 teams in each group where the top 3 advance in the next round. Group A kicked off last week, where as the rest of the groups will be played this week and the next two to three weeks. Group A consists of NIP, Entropiq, Fnatic, Mouz, G2, LookingForOrg (Australian team). The group went just as expected for the bottom part, with LookingForOrg finishing 0-5 because they’re simply not on the level EU counter-strike is.

Next, up which was super surprising, 5th place was G2, where some of their games were played with Amanek because of AleksiB having COVID-19 and not being able to play. However, G2 made it to 5th place and did not make it through. Next up we got mouz, ending up on 4th place and also not making it through. The top 3 teams that made it through were NIP (1st place), Entropiq (2nd place), Fnatic (3rd place). Fnatic was surprising because they played with 3 stand-ins this tournament and yet managed to qualify, which was very impressive.

COD

This tournament was Major 2 Qualifier, which was played online. Like stated in earlier articles about these qualifiers, there isn’t much to take away from them other than teams trying new things and also securing some points. Regardless of that, it was a fun week and once the major 2 LAN tournaments kicks off, there will be some bets coming up.
