eSports Weekly | Latest News & Stories – Feb. 07, 2022

Hello eSports fans, and welcome to our weekly review! Many things happened in the past couple of days, so we will not make this introduction long. Let’s start with the latest news, stories, latest results, and what holds for next week! Also, don’t forget to read our Free eSports Predictions!
CSGO:
This weekend was the Blast Premier Single elimination bracket where the remaining teams from last week that qualified to this week, played each other. Top 6 of this tournament qualifies to “Spring final”, meanwhile the 6 remaining teams move on to “Spring Showdown”, which will take place next month or so.
The top 3 teams who made the Spring final and also secured $27.500 home are: FaZe, OG, Vitality. These three teams were by far the best ones this weekend and showed some great Counter-Strike. The other three who made the “Spring Final” with a $17.500 price are BIG, Natus Vincere, and G2. The top 6 teams who made it to “Spring Showdown”, with a less prize are Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Made in Brazil, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid and Complexity. These teams are teams who are going to get better with a bit more practice, and we are excited to see how they develop in the future.
Congratulations on the victory to our Papito; to Counter-Strike’s Papito, @paszaBiceps. 💪 pic.twitter.com/lH2oP7hJYe

Call of Duty:
This weekend’s Call of Duty was super entertaining considering it was the first proper weekend of the brand new game. There is nothing much to say other than the game is similar to the previous Call of Duty titles, other than the maps and some mechanics and of course the weapons, being different. This weekend wasn’t a tournament so we aren’t going to summarise a lot, however, expect Call of Duty bets to be added in the next weekends to come. Stay tuned.
